The aim of the call is to improve the quality of life of people affected by muscular dystrophy

The new Telethon-UILDM clinical call is now available online.

In agreement with UILDM, to consolidate the path undertaken last year, in continuity with the previous edition the focus of the call is on clinical research to develop multidisciplinary protocols and preventive measures to support the care pathway of adults with muscular dystrophy.

Priority also continues to be given to topics that explore the natural history of adult muscular dystrophy and complex issues such as cardiological management, nutritional or bone dysfunction, cognitive and behavioural aspects, and prognostic factors and biomarkers.

Multi-centre proposals directly involving junior clinicians to promote their professional development and leadership in clinical research in the specified fields are invited.

Documents and guidelines for the applications are available below.

The deadline for submissions is April 10th.
