A call for Applications in collaboration with the Italian Association for Glucose transporter type 1 (GLUT1) deficiency syndrome (GLUT1) is online.
This initiative is aimed at funding seeding projects focused on understanding the pathogenetic mechanisms and possible therapeutic approaches for GLUT1 Deficiency Syndrome.
The expected result is to acquire sufficient preliminary data to obtain and access other funding initiatives and/or opportunities.
The duration of the proposed project cannot exceed 12 months. The budget is limited to 50,000 euros.
Researchers working in non-profit Italian public or private research institutes, within and outside the Telethon Institutes are eligible.
Applications must be submitted by October 25st, 2019 at 1:00 PM (CEST).
Applicants have to register and fill in the Title of the proposed project by October 7th, 2019. The Call and the Guidelines are available on this webpage and on the TETRA - Telethon Projects Managements system portal at https://projects.telethon.it
