The Dulbecco Telethon Institute International Postdoctoral Programme: DTI-IMPORT, 10 January first call open!

Experience in Biomedical Sciences, motivation and an international profile: from the 10th January the first call is open!

DTI-IMPORT (co-funded by the European Community within the Marie Curie Actions of the 7FWP) is intended to provide an excellent training to experienced researchers and, at the same time, enhance the internationalization in the Dulbecco Telethon Institute (DTI).

The International Postdoctoral Programme will last for five years and will allow each fellow to conduct research in the Institute for three years. Researchers coming from UE Member States, associated countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Faroe Islands, FYR Macedonia, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey) or third countries can apply. Italians as well are eligible to apply, provided that they have resided outside Italy for at least 3 years. Both categories, Italian and foreigner researchers, must have resided for less than 12 months in Italy at the time of application (compulsory national service and/or short stays such as holidays are not taken into account).Candidates must hold a PhD, a M.D. or equivalent at the time of the call deadline, have at least one first author publication in international peer reviewed journals and provide two reference letters.

The research environment is itself international and stimulating. Indeed the DTI is made of 21 laboratories in Italy distributed in some of the most prestigious public and private research centers and Universities. Each laboratory of the DTI is led by internationally recognized experts that have trained abroad and have then established their own labs in Italy. For more information visit the DTI-IMPORT website http://dti.telethon.it/dti-import.
