Dr. Ambra Pozzi received her Ph.D. in Experimental Pathology at the University of Florence, Italy.
She is currently Professor of Medicine, Cancer Biology, and Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville (USA).
Dr. Pozzi’s research focuses on the role of cell-extracellular matrix interaction in fibrotic disesases as well as on the role of arachidonic acid derived lipids in angiogenesis and tumorigenesis.
She became a member of the Telethon Scientific Committee in 2016.
